Flood Relief Work today

Continuing with the relief operations in Bihar, team of doctors from Doctors for You is currently working in the camps organized jointly by Tata Institute of Social Sciences and Delhi School of Social Works (Delhi University). There are 3 fixed camps and 1 mobile camp.

The fixed camps are at Bhutehi, Kushaha(place wheer the dam on River Kosi has broken), Jirva and a one near Dhuvania village in Sonbarsa block.

The team of doctors attended to 212, 275, 140 patients respectively.

130 patients were treated at the camp near Dhuvania. The team also conducted few deliveries, health prescription, chlorination of the water, distributed ORS packets and Vitamin A tablets to children.

The volunteers of Delhi School of Social Works have opened a school where they themself are teaching.
